PAVILION EXHIBITS - SECTION I: DAIRY PRODUCE, VEGETABLES AND FRUIT

Exhibits will be received by the stewards at the pavilion Thursday 3rd March 2011, 4.00 - 7.00pm or Friday 4th March, 8.00 - 10.00am.

CONDITIONS:

A. Exhibits will be judged on commercial value.

B. The vegetables must be true to type. A variety may have several types but the individual specimens in the entry shall be all of the same type. The size, shape and colour should be identical.

C. All exhibits should be clean, with no solid, diseased or foreign matter present.

D. Exhibits to be free from insect or other damage.

E. Vegetables such as carrots should be shown with the tops cut back, leaving about 75 -100 mm of the top on.

F. Exhibits must be grown or made by the exhibitors.

G. Tomatoes must have stalks removed.

H. Lettuce, Cabbage, Rhubarb & Silverbeet to be presented in water.
